Terms of Service

1. The service

GlobeDash is an indoor-cycling application: it connects to your Bluetooth smart trainer, simulates real-world roads and gradients, generates routes, and records your training. It is available as a web application and a desktop application.

2. Your account

An account is required. You are responsible for your credentials and for the accuracy of the information you provide. One account per person; you must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Subscriptions and payment

Core features are currently available free of charge during launch. When paid subscriptions are introduced, they will be sold and processed by our payment partner acting as Merchant of Record; pricing, billing period and cancellation terms will be shown at checkout, and cancellation will always be possible from your account with effect at the end of the paid period. 4. Health warning

Cycling training is strenuous physical exercise. Consult a physician before beginning any training program, especially structured workouts or FTP tests. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. GlobeDash provides no medical advice; power targets and training metrics are informational only, and you use them at your own risk.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or resell the service; do not upload content that is unlawful or that you lack rights to; do not use the service to harass others. We may suspend accounts that endanger the service or other users.

6. Your content and your data

Your rides, routes and settings remain yours. You grant us the licence needed to store and process them to operate the service. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL); routing is powered by BRouter.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and evolves continuously. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features; material changes to paid features will be communicated in advance.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile. Disputes are subject to the courts of Santiago de Chile, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
